We tagged along with Thomas Johansson, Secretary of general at the Baltic Salmon Fund, to his backyard river to try and find some spawners — a task easier said than done in 2024 — but (spoiler alert) we saw a handful of hopes for the future.

 This is a breakout from “Free Falling”, a film project about the love for the outdoors and the Baltic salmon, to be premiered in early 2025.
